Lockwood Lane 1860 School House

“HONEY!  I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WANT TO BUY THIS DUMP”

In 2004, Gary and Laura bought Boxford’s District One schoolhouse from the 1860s. They dismantled it down to the studs and refurbished every inch of the original building with custom cabinetry and millwork throughout.  They added a mudroom and garage with an in-law apartment above to expand the footprint of the house and complete the extended cape design they were looking for. After a lot of blood, sweat and tears, they called it their forever family home.
